What is a Certified Fearless Living Coach?
We are life coaches who help people get to the root of their fear - so they stop sabotaging themselves and start living with more confidence, clarity, and freedom.
What is the difference between a life coach and a therapist or a counselor?
A therapist tends to focus on the past and the reasons why you do what you do.
A counselor may be focused on the present, and will give advice or direction or instructions.
A life coach is definitely focused on now – and works with you to uncover what is best for you. In the process, the past tends to be healed.
Coaches are sometimes the missing link between a therapist or counselor and the real life of a client. While a therapist can help you understand why you do what you do, a life coach can help you put what you learn from them into practice.
Why do I need a life coach?
Everyone needs a life coach at some time in their life, sometimes more than once. We all need a safe space to ask existential questions and receive support without judgement, express our fears (we're all human, we all have fears of some kind), and have a champion on our side until we can fight for ourselves.
A Certified Fearless Living Coach can help you identify your core fear, understand it, process it and then master it, so you can show up fully, speak your truth, and stop holding back.
How often do I need to talk to a life coach?
It depends on you – what do you want to accomplish? How firmly do you want to embed your changes in your life and behavior? Are you trying to move a mountain or a molehill in your life?
Some people want only one session, some people choose packages, or a specific subject to work on, some people want on-going support and may choose a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly schedule. It’s up to you.
How much does it cost?
Several options are available:
Because I love coaching people and supporting them as they take control of their lives, there is a sliding scale for people who need it.
If you choose one of the packages or group coaching, the rates are discounted a bit from the cost of an individual session.
Details are on the “Opportunities” page.
What are your qualifications for being a life coach?
#1. For my whole life I’ve been curious about why people do what they do. Having become a Certified Fearless Living Coach (CFLC), I now have a framework to understand human behavior in a way that makes sense to me.
#2. Earning my certification as a coach by studying with Rhonda Britten and her faculty at the Fearless Living Institute, which involved nine months of study, coaching real people with real fears (rather than other coaching students), and practicing the tools and skills that make an excellent coach.
#3. Reading widely with a curiosity about psychology, sociology, human behavior, and relationships. I’m still doing that. My education continues.
